YAY for digi's!!!

Products Used: Fairy Doodle stamp, SNF Confidence quote digi, Martha Stewart star edge punch, flowers were in my stash and I added the pearls by Recollections, Tim Holtz distress inks in: Walnut Stain, Broken china, antique linen, and tea dye, and the paper is from a black and white collection by Making Memories I bought a year ago.

This was my FIRST attempt at painting an image with distress inks. I really am pleased with the "edgy messy" look it makes. I feel like this painting technique really adds character to this card. I am just LOVING it :) I'm very pleased.

I made this card to go into the "inspirational" section of my card box. I really want to make more. I found the digi quote through the free digi blog which links you to all sorts of blogs that are posting free digis!! I got a whole set of them collecting in a file on my computer. I figure with graduate school coming up these next two years there will be PLE NTY of opportunities to give the girls and maybe even a professor or two a little pick me up before a very stressful exam or during just a tuff week. :) I'm so excited to get a collection of these cards made up!!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
1. Stamp Something - use a digi! (how easy is that, yay!)
2. Some Odd Girl - Spots, Stripes, and BIG TITLE (idk if my "YOU'RE RIGHT" counts or not... but it's big for me in terms of what I normally put on a card.. idk)
3. Just Magnolia - Bev's sketch (unfortunately I followed the sketch but I don't own any Magnolia stamps - Christmas gift idea to my family!! But I'll include it here anyway since I LOVED LOVED LOVED this sketch!!)

Tata for now!
