I lifted this card from a DT card over on the Paper Craft blog. It's challenge number 3 - Red, White and Blue. The "lace" was made on baby blue paper, but unfortunately looks very white in the picture. The lift doesn't look much like the original, but what else is new!?

I am off to put these in the mail for family members!

This card was made for my Father's birthday coming up in the next week. I followed a color pallet made for the BasicGrey Challenge Week 23 Photo Inspiration. I also am entering this into the Party Time Tuesday's Birthday Card Challenge. This one was easy this week since the theme is "anything goes". Hahaha... LOVE it!

This LO was inspired by the Sketch challenge over on the Design Dollies blog. I'm not GREAT with sketches but I believe this is the best I've ever done with coming so close to the original. I love the way it turned out at least. Plus, this is the first LO I've done that has absolutely no journaling, and It's very simple.

This was also my first attempt with stitching. HAHA... I had NO clue what I was doing, and the way paper feels going through the sewing machine is NOTHING like the way material feels. But thats what practice is for... right? :)

The flower is from a tutorial I found on the Such A Pretty Mess blog. Her's are WAY better (promise!) hahaha.

Well I'm on a roll today getting pictures posted so let's see what else I can accomplish.

It's been a LONG time since I have been able to sit down at my scrap table and put something together. I was the winner of some fun little embellies and along with the package came a cute little card. I just LOVED it, and wanted to take a stab at lifting it. I never seem to get mine to look much like the original, but I don't mind the way it turned out :)

I'm entering this card into two challenges: the Color Challenge over on Design Dollies, and the Simon Says Stamp! Challenge.

This card is off to a wonderful friend as soon as I get to the post office! She has NO idea it's coming (which is the way I like it).

Here is a card I did for a friend who absolutely LOVES getting mail. She has no clue it's in the mail headed to her house, and after the week she's having taking care of the house and her siblings, she deserves to get a little surprise. The picture includes us three girls being silly for the camera. The butterflies were made by printing them out on cardstock and then destressing the edges. The flower was made by cutting out circles, crinkling the edges and holding them together with a brad.

The card was done for two challenges: Basicgrey Challenges and Simon Says Stamp!

For the Basicgrey challenge I had to use the colour combo turquoise, brown, and cream. Even my picture has those colors in them... didn't even TRY to do that. The Basicgrey I used for this card comes from the Basicgrey offbeat collection pack. (I used the paper to make the flower)

For the Simon Says Stamp! Challenge, I had to build a card from the recipe: 1 image, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments. I used the picture as my image, the flower and back ground paper are my two patterns, and the embellishments are: the crystal brad, the butterflies, and the tag that says "These are the days we'll remember" which is from a pack by K&Company.

This was such a fun card to make and I'm loving how it turned out!

This is a father's day card I made for the Week 21 Challenge over on Basicgrey challenges blog. The rules were to make a card following the sketch AND use one basic grey product. I used paper from the offbeat collection pack.

I found the sketch really hard to do since I am no good at copying other's work, but then again, that's why it's called a challenge! (Plus now I have a father's day card out of the way).

The picture on the card is my father, his fiance, and my future sister and I at my college graduation back in May. (Pretty exciting!) :)

Here is a fun LO I did for two different challenges. I did the sunshine design for the "Cool shades and Challenge on My Scrap Stuff blog. The challenege was to use something with a sun or have "sun" in your title. I did a flower piece from a left over piece of scrap from my Sassafras Sweet Marmalade collection (which I LOVE). I also used scraps from another page in that collection to add the flowers in the bottom right hand corner. The letters and the background sparkly orange paper are brand new. This was done for the Old vs. New challenge at Tidbitz in Time.

The picture was taken as I was inpatiently waiting at a red light to cross the DE Mem. bridge. My puppy was on his way to poppop's for a weekend sleep over as I headed to the beach. He LOVES car rides, just gets nervous that I'm taking him to the vet or nail clipper... haha.

I added some journaling because I felt that the LO lacked a little once everything was layed out. But now I love the simpleness of it. :)

My first challenge submission. Yes, tuff! This was one a did for A Day in the Life of Renee. Her challenge was "Pink and Crystals".

I did the page for my sister in law. A total surprise... I am doing pictures of her entire pregnancy of my future niece/nephew! I am soooo excited to give it to her that I don't know if I can keep it a secret :/ But I must. have. control. haha

The flowers were made by hand from a video tutorial I watched a long time ago, and the butterflies were printed on patterned paper and cut out. The crystals are from a baby girl kit I purchased through a yard sale some months ago.

The title was rubbed on with EK success rub-ons in Periwinkle White. The word "girl?" is done in thickers "sprinkles" .
